Here is Abp Viganò on how changing practice leads
to changing belief in the Roman Catholic Church.
And this is what Bart would have us unite with?
* Abp. Viganò uses AI to show how Communion
in the hand destroys belief in the Real Presence *
https://www.lifesitenews.com/opinion/exclusive-abp-vigano-uses-ai-to-show-how-communion-in-the-hand-destroys-belief-in-the-real-presence/?utm_source=popular
‘ In an exclusive piece for LifeSiteNews, Archbishop Viganò said that when he asked ChatGPT how a pope could undermine belief in the Real Presence of the Eucharist, the AI gave answers nearly identical to the Modernist reforms implemented after Vatican II.
(LifeSiteNews) — The following is a brief reflection given by Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò after he was asked if he could comment on the findings of the largest survey of Catholics in the United States which found that the #1 reason for loss of faith in the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist is communion in the hand.
The poll conducted by the Real Presence Coalition confirms what was already evident when Paul VI authorized the modification of the discipline in this matter. First of all, it was clear that the so-called “reforms” imposed by a group of subversives Modernists did not respond to any request “from the grass roots.” Neither the Novus Ordo nor the new ways of administering Communion were the fruit of a real need of the ecclesial body. The opposite is true, however, that the so-called liturgical reform was intended to help spread the doctrine it contained among the clergy and the faithful, causing the πρᾶξις (praxis) to influence the δόξα (belief). The concept summarized by the adage Lex orandi, lex credendi has been widely adopted by the proponents of the conciliar reform, but in reverse and maliciously: in this case it is not in fact the oρθοδοξία (orthodoxy) that determines the ὀρθοπραξία (orthopraxy), but the ἑτεροπραξία (heteropraxy) that shapes the ἑτεροδοξία (heterodoxy).
The faithful who are asked to kneel to receive Holy Communion in the mouth are led by the gestures they make to recognize the Real Presence in the Sacred Species and to adhere to the corresponding Catholic doctrine. Similarly, the faithful who are asked not to kneel and to touch the Host with their hands end up believing the heterodox doctrine insinuated by the Reformed rites. This doctrinal change is further favored when the ritual change replaces an entirely opposite practice.
This shows unequivocally that those who meddled with the Liturgy after the Council knew very well what would be the disruptive scope of the Novus Ordo in corrupting the Faith of the people of God. They did not explicitly modify the lex credendi, but wanted to express their deviations in the lex orandi, knowing full well that it would have been much easier to make people lose faith in the Real Presence by making them receive Communion standing and in their hands, rather than preaching these errors from the pulpits while continuing to administer Communion on their knees and in the mouth. The fact that the Hierarchy has imposed standing and holding Communion on the faithful has been perceived as a repudiation of the past and a rejection of previous doctrine.
The evidence for this reasoning is confirmed by an unusual source: ChatGPT, a conversational “artificial intelligence” app. I tried to interrogate ChatGTP not because I consider it a true form of intelligence but because its data processing system identifies causal relationships on the mathematical model and it is therefore interesting to see how an algorithm is able to detect what the mainstream narrative pretends not to see.
This is the question I asked:
If a Pope wanted to weaken the faith of Catholics in the Real Presence, how should he modify the rite of Communion?
This is the answer I got:
If a Pope wanted to weaken the Catholic faith in the Real Presence, he might consider some changes to the rite of Communion, such as:
Simplified rituals: Reduce the number of ritual elements that emphasize the sacredness of Communion, such as worship or genuflection.
Symbolic elements: Promote an emphasis on the symbolism of the bread and wine, rather than on their transformation into the Body and Blood of Christ.
Verbal communication: Use language that highlights Communion as a commemorative act rather than an actual encounter with Christ.
Modification of prayers: Change prayers and liturgical texts to reflect a more symbolic vision of Communion, minimizing references to the Real Presence.
Flexibility in administration: Allow alternative forms of receiving Communion that may seem less sacramental, such as receiving it in a more informal form or without liturgical celebration.
These changes could contribute to a more muted view of the Real Presence among the faithful.
We know very well that so-called “artificial intelligence” is nothing more than a very fast computer system for the collection and analysis of a huge amount of data; but precisely for this reason we can understand how a machine without conscience knows how to answer a question clearly, revealing the premeditation and malice of those who have tampered with the Liturgy of the Church in order to tamper with the Church’s Faith.
In the face of the evidence of the subversive intentions of the conciliar revolution and the even more evident disaster that it has caused in the faithful and in the entire ecclesial body, it is indispensable to oppose a contrary action, which must necessarily consist, on the one hand, in the sine glossa rejection of the Novus Ordo and of the doctrinal and ecclesiological structure that underlies it; and on the other hand, in a full return to the traditional Apostolic Rite, which by the very admission of the proponents of Vatican II is incompatible with their “church.” This liturgical restoration cannot and must not be motivated by mere aesthetic or taste preferences, but by the awareness that the only lex orandi of the Catholic Church is the one sanctioned by two thousand years of uninterrupted and integral profession of the same Faith, and not the fruit of a heretical bricolage cobbled together by Freemasons and Protestants. ‘

*Alex Jones Issues Terrifying Post-Election Prediction*
https://vigilantfox.news/p/alex-jones-issues-terrifying-post?r=os78h&utm_medium=ios&triedRedirect=true
‘ He forecasted that once Trump becomes president, “Black Lives Matter, Antifa, and all these Islamic hordes that are allied with the left” will “engage in massive civil unrest.”
The possibility is certainly real. And this scenario becomes even more terrifying when you realize that Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-Connecticut) is working on a bill to cripple Trump’s ability to respond to civil unrest. Specifically, Blumenthal is introducing legislation to limit unchecked presidential authority under the Insurrection Act ahead of Trump’s forecasted victory.
What the bill means, if passed, is that Trump will be severely handicapped in the face of widespread violence and unrest. Blumenthal’s legislation is designed to handcuff the president by requiring approval from Congress before the military can be deployed to deal with domestic threats.
Adding to the possibility of civil unrest, Bill Gates, the man who seems to always financially profit when disaster happens, said in 2022 that America’s “political polarization may bring it all to an end.”
He predicted that at some point, “We’re going to have a hung election and a civil war.”
The trigger to civil unrest could be the election, of course. However, Alex Jones warned that an incident like the one we saw with George Floyd in 2020 could be exploited again to spark widespread riots. Jones pointed out that while the Democrats accuse Trump of planning to use the military on the American people, the government is already making moves to do just that.
DoD Directive 5240.01
Adding to all the things that can go wrong is U.S. Department of Defense Directive 5240.01, which is an absolute nightmare.
What that directive does is that it gives the DoD the power to step in and use lethal force within U.S. borders, even against its own citizens, when it deems lives are at risk.
Don’t want to wear a mask? You’re putting lives at risk. Lethal force could technically be used against you. Don’t want to take a vaccine? The same story exists. The potential for abuse is limitless here.
The scope of this authority is chilling because the directive specifically states that the decision to use lethal force only needs the Secretary of Defense’s approval. Once lethal force is approved, anything can happen.
For years, Alex Jones warned about martial law and domestic military control, and now we’re seeing that terrifying scenario unfold right before our eyes. ‘
How interesting – Presidential authority will be limited,
but the Secretary of Defense alone will be able
to authorise the use of lethal force.
And who will be Trump’s Secretary of Defense?
Nikki Haley? Lindsey Graham?
Mike Pompeo?
Christine says
Mr. Trump needs to seriously clean house when he first arrives in DC in January 2025. He has admitted that the main thing he would change and do-over from his previous Presidency is “trusting the wrong people”. Who he decides to put in positions of authority such as his Cabinet will be a very big deal for him, and I hope he’ll be strategic enough this time to shut down all the kind of stuff you mention above.
And honestly, Brendan, for a Scot, you are so much better informed and involved in American politics than anyone else I know. Way to go!!!
Brendan says
Thank you Christine. I confess some slight alarm

what a nice man Mike Pompeo is…
Gail Sheppard says
He does that. It must be a character trait or something. When a crowd was booing “Miss Lindsey,” as George is fond of calling him, Trump said, “Naw, he’s OK. He’s OK.” I heard him do something similar with Mike Pence. – The guy has a bigger heart than I do. It seems to make him physically uncomfortable to see someone being kicked when he’s down. Some may see this as a character flaw, especially when it comes to politics. I’d rather have a president who errs on the side of being too kind than one who errs on the side of being a jerk. We have enough jerks in Washington! (When you think about it, he knows more than we do about these people. They may have been leaned on and he feels some sympathy toward them. I have a hard time with it, though.)

And here is Martin Armstrong’s take on these matters:
*The Destruction of the United States Projected by
our Computer | Oct 6, 2024 by Martin Armstrong*
https://www.armstrongeconomics.com/world-news/war/the-destruction-of-the-united-states-projected-by-our-computer/
‘ I have often been asked why the media never runs a story on our computer, the ONLY Artificial Intelligence computer with a real track record of over 40 years that has called every major shift in the world economy and correctly forecasted wars to the point of even targeting Ukraine years in advance. All I can do is warn that our computer has mapped it all out and has never been wrong in the major global trends. You would think the media would be knocking on the door. But they are bought and paid for and are not interested in actually helping society or steering a middle ground. …
The American Neocons always want war, and they have seized control of the Democratic Party, which is why you have the Republican Neocons coming out for Kamala, including Dick Cheney. I am not being partisan here. The West will lose this war, and the financial capital of the world will move once again, just as WWI took it from Britain and handed it to New York. This WWIII will take it from New York and hand it to Beijing. The United States will break up into regions because the media has sown such political hatred between the LEFT and the RIGHT that there is no “unity” to maintain the United States as a confederation.
Biden has admitted to consulting with Israel about attacking the nuclear facility in Iran. It appears that doing so may set off a far greater catastrophe than most expect, which will most certainly compel Russia and China to respond. …
If there was ever a confirmation for war, there it is. Dick Cheney endorses Kamala. These people always want war, yet they have lost EVERY single one since World War II. Nobody in Washington will stop them because too many people line their pockets with money. These Neocons should be dragged out of Washington and put on trial for their usurpation of our government. The Neocon Republicans have no problem sending Americans to their death for their personal hatreds and vendettas. The fact that they are coming out and claiming to be Republicans for Harris confirms this election is really all about World War III. Former US Rep. Adam Kinzinger announced via X, writing: “There is nothing ‘conservative’ about Donald Trump. Conservatives believe in the Constitution, not a ‘man’s’ ego. Endorsing American democracy and the future today and leaving the past in the dust. I’m endorsing @KamalaHarris.”
It was Adam Kinzinger who was thrown out of the House by voters because he is a vile Neocon who belongs in prison under the hate crimes laws. This is the guy who claimed that we can destroy Russia and conquer that country in just 3 days. As long as the West continues to allow the Neocons to control this war, then there will be no stopping World War III. These people have spent their entire lives hating Russians for particularly personal reasons.
These Neocons have waged endless wars since Vietnam. They had lied to the American public to justify their wars as Robert McNamara sought to clear his conscience before he died and said, “WE WERE WRONG” about Vietnam, that the Russians were not involved, and it was just a civil war. The cost of this War on Terror Brown University has conducted a study and placed it at $8 trillion, again with no victory. There were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, and nobody was ever held accountable. … ‘

Gail Sheppard says
We don’t think you’re crazy!
Brendan says
“…everyone I know thinks I am crazy.”
You need to widen your circle…
Misha says
A few points.
First of all, the sword cuts both ways. Laws allowing lethal force by the military against insurrections can be used by Trump just as easily as they could by a Democrat. In fact, the entire police state apparatus could and should be used by Trump against the Democrat leadership, incarcerating as many as possible.
Second, Israel seems to have met its match in that it does not seem capable of penetrating Iranian air defenses. If that is so, they are stuck in a death by a thousand cuts scenario.
Third, it is clear that the West cannot defeat Russia. That being the case, Russia will inevitably gain economic hegemony over Europe. Already, much of their gas/oil is simply being re-routed through India at a markup. It’s just a matter of time. These are the fundamental dynamics of nature and economics at play.
Fourth, none of this happens all at once (thank God) but has to play out over months and years, perhaps decades. The best thing Trump can do is Europeanize the Ukraine war, getting the US out, and settling the whole Gaza War business. He seems inclined to do both. People get the Golden Don all wrong. It is not that he’s devoutly pro Israel. It’s that he’s a pragmatic politician. He’s anti war, in general. This translates into an Iranian victory in the ME war since Israel’s only hope is to draw in the US. And that is a mirage. The US probably can’t do markedly more to Iran than Israel can. Certainly not troops on the ground. But Trump would prevent even that.
And finally, fifth, when Kinzinger says that Trump is not a conservative, he’s only half right. Trump is not an American conservative (i.e., a conservative liberal). He is, broadly and loosely, a historical, traditional conservative of the very old school. His limitation is that he has some fondness for the US Constitution, which I take as a weakness on his part and that of MAGA. But he can work around it if he is clever and has good lawyers advising him. After all, as the liberals taught us, it’s just a piece of parchment, after all.
The best he can do is solidify our position in the Americas and give us a renewed voice to engage in mutually beneficial development in Africa. Europe and East Asia will soon be a lost cause and don’t deserve the money and lives we are and might be throwing at them. NATO will likely not survive the loss of the Ukraine War. When that happens, Europe will, either slowly or promptly, reorient eastward.
Nor can we win in the South China Sea. Again, we are trying to project power into someone else’s front yard – a quixotic endeavor against a peer competitor. The world is separating out into civilizational blocks and we’ll be lucky to keep the Americas. It may just be us, Canada, the Brits and Aussies when the dust settles.
Brendan says
“… the entire police state apparatus could and should
be used by Trump against the Democrat leadership”.
Only if he is actually installed,
which is the question at issue.
Otherwise I mostly agree with you.
I expect the EU to go the way of NATO
unless it returns to the old Gaullist format
of l’Europe des Patries (Europe of Nations);
to which the Scots may yet choose to move;
thereby reducing the UK to Englandshire
and a few of its historical appendages;
with Ireland being reunited at last.
